Angel Squad is done for another year, but you can call 204-22-ANGEL (204-222-6435) to donate at any time of the year. If you donate before December 31 you will receive a tax receipt for 2012.
Misericordia’s Angel Squad has become a Winnipeg icon.
Every year dozens of volunteers come out for our three-day Angel Squad campaign to help raise money for Misericordia Health Centre. Dressed up as angels in gowns, wings and halos, our volunteers stand on the Maryland Bridge to wave at passing motorists and encourage them to stop by Misericordia to make a donation. Many Winnipeggers get involved, and including local dignitaries and school children alike joining our volunteer angels to show their support.
